Promoting Financial Self-Sufficiency of Native Americans in Wisconsin through a Charitable Contribution to the Wisconsin Native Loan Fund (WINLF)

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and U.S.Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with a social impact mission, we appreciate your financial gift.  WINLF uses your financial donations to provide tailored one-on-one customer technical assistance, financial education, leveraging grants, and affordable capital for consumer, housing, and small business loan products to underserved & undercapitalized Native Americans in Wisconsin.

Native Americans in Wisconsin as a whole experience more than twice as much poverty and unemployment compared to the state overall.  Moreover, most of these communities are in rural areas, where community resources tend to be relatively few and far between (based on U.S. Census Bureau statistics as of 2019.)

Charitable donations to WINLF are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.  The full amount of a donation (less any nominal third-party fee for processing online donations) is applied towards WINLF's charitable purposes.  In donating to WINLF, you acknowledge no goods or services will be offered in exchange for such a donation.  A donation receipt will be provided by mail, email, or online donation platform.

SUCCESS STORIES

Getting a loan through WINLF has been so much better than any big bank!  They knew me and talked to me personally, called to check in how the business was doing during COVID, and went out of their way to apply for grants to help Native-owned businesses succeed.
