Wisconsin Native Loan Fund Appoints Cheryl Cloud as new CEO

Lac du Flambeau – Wisconsin Native Loan Fund (WINLF) Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Cheryl Cloud as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ms. Cloud brings considerable passion, skill, and experience to guide WINLF in its mission to promote the financial self-sufficiency and community development of Wisconsin Native American communities, especially with opportunities and challenges going into the new year.

Prior to being appointed WINLF's CEO, Ms. Cloud has been serving on WINLF's Board of Directors for over 6 years. She retires with 15+ years of federal service in the Indian Housing and Tribal Transportation industries, most recently from her role as Administrator Advisor for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)'s Eastern Woodlands Office of Native American Programs. She comes to WINLF with 10 years of experience in the housing and community development realm and over 25 years of contract/grant management experience. She has served as a Housing Director, Tribal Operations Manager, a Small Business Development and Technical Assistance Specialist and on her Tribal Business Development Corporation Board. She’s an entrepreneur herself and has owned a construction company with her husband for 9 years. She has a B.S. in Business, Management and Leadership from Northland College and is an enrolled Bad River Tribal Member.

Wisconsin Native Loan Fund (WINLF) Inc. is a certified Native American Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) located in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization looking to better our community by providing affordable lending to Native Americans.
Through the use of generous donations, we are a revolving loan fund that supports the renovations of distressed homes for people in need; we also provide down-payment assistance and debt consolidation loans.
